Best Squonk Mods 2019
Hello everyone, Anthony Vapes here again and today we’ll talk about best squonk mods that you can find on the market currently. Squonking is more popular than ever these days with many companies making them so lots of choices to sort through. Thankfully this hand guide will help you pick from the best of them not including mech squonkers.
Best Squonk Mods – Protected/Non-adjustable
1. asmodus pumper 18/21
There are 2 versions of this mod out there. The 18 takes a single 18650 battery and the 21 is slightly larger and takes a 21700 battery but outside of that they are the same mod and chip and pump system.
Both feature a beautiful stabilized wood (stabwod for short) body, making them stand out as a premium product that will turn heads. The unique pump system is great and makes it easy to not oversquonk. It’s pricey like all stabwood mods but worth the money if you have the budget.
2. Aspire Feedlink
If you don’t want to shell out the money for the pumper mod but still want something built well that is more affordable, aspire has you covered.
This mod is heavy duty and built solid and features the option of metal panels or resin panels and both are nice depending on your preference. It’s a single 18650 battery only mod though.
3. Wismec Luxotic BF
If you are looking for something really affordable and dirt cheap to start out or try squonking, Wismec Luxotic BF is a great choice where if you didn’t like it, you wouldn’t feel bad about the money spent on it. It’s a simple product that’s small and light and cheap and gets the job done.
Best Squonk Mods – Regulated
1. Lost Vape Therion BF 75C
One of only 2 options on this list that do a good job in temp control, so if you want temp control, this or the VTinbox is the way to go.
Outside of that it’s a bit on the pricey side but worth the money for this very nice looking mod with tons of color options on the leather for the battery door and great temp control and the new DNA75C chip which can be updated to include replay mode now as well. It’s a single 18650 battery only mod.
2. Hcigar VTinbox V3
The latest version of the VTinbox that fixed some of the issues with the first 2. It’s cheaper than the Therion BF 75C listed above as this mod has the older non C version of the chip so no color screen and no replay but still a great choice for an affordable TC squonk mod if you didn’t want to spend the price tag on the Therion.
It’s a single 18650 battery only mod but does have replaceable side plates with tons of options.
3. Revenant Delta
This mod is quite a collaboration indeed. It’s designed in collaboration with Revenant Mods and TVL (The Vape League) and manufactured by Vaporesso and uses their great omni chip.
Sadly, it’s a watered down version of their chip which is power mode only and their super player mode which can fire down to 0.03 ohms but no temp control which would have made this the top mod on the list.
What you do get though is a great power mode squonk mod that can take a single 21700, 20700, or 18650 battery with a unique pump system for squonking.
4. Desire Cut Squonk
This unique shaped squonk mod is very comfortable in the hand and quite solid and well built with some weight to it.
It features a large screen and can take a single 21700, 20700, or 18650 battery so plenty of options there and isn’t too expensive either.
Great performer in power mode but doesn’t do temp control very well at all. It’s available in 5 colors Black, Red, Blue, White, and Purple.
5. Desire Rage Squonk
The best option currently on the market still if you are looking for a dual 18650 battery squonker.
While it’s lacking in the temp control performance like every mod on this list not in the top 2, it does a great job in power mode and has a nice size and shape to it as well. It’s available in 5 colors Black, Silver, Red, White, and Purple.
6. Pulse 80w/Pulse X
This mod is available in 2 versions, the original Pulse 80w which can take a single 20700 or 18650 battery or the newer slightly bigger Pulse X version with the only difference being it can take a 21700 battery as well.
Both have the same chip and performance so good for power mode but not good for temp control and the original 80w can be updated for 90 watts as well via a firmware update.
If you want something small, compact and lightweight, that’s affordable with nice resin panels which are also sold seperately to color match your atomizer. These are great options.
7. Dovpo Topside
I couldn’t try TC because mine wouldn’t update (heard quite a few people who had that issue) but this is a solid performer in power mode.
There are also issues with the sealing in some causing juice to leak behind the screen. Sounds like bad QC but I got a good power mode one personally and the fill method is really nice.
It’s large and heavy so not for everyone but takes a single 21700, 20700 or 18650 battery, so if you’re willing to press your luck, it’s a nice power mode squonker.
8. Hcigar Aurora
This is an affordable 2×700 squonk mod that performs on par with the pulse 80w. It’s a solid metal box with a cool battery adapter design though if you want something more substantial feeling than a 3d printed mod.
9. Geekvape Gbox
This is a poor TC performer but great power mode mod and takes dual 18650 batteries for big builds and battery life.
Bottle system should be better and it’s not a great mod but it’s much cheaper than a rage so a good entry level choice if you need higher power or longer battery life than the single battery options here.
Thank you for reading dear vapers. Hope this list of best squonk mods can help you find the squonkers that rock in 2019. If you do not agree with my list or have used better ones, please don’t hesitate to leave a comment below and I will update this list if they are proved to be outstanding in performance. Thank you again!
I started vaping in late 2011 to quit chewing tobacco. over the past few years i got a lot more into the hobby side and buying and collecting a lot of gear. Fed up with the lack of good fair reviews i decided to start doing reviews late 2016 and haven’t looked back. I enjoy providing people with technical reviews that are fair and unbiased and from a place of knowledge to help them spend their money wisely.
