Best Vape Starter Kits 2019
Hey everyone, Anthony Vapes here again and today we’ll take a look at the best vape starter kits that you can find on the market currently. Picking a kit to start vaping isn’t always an easy thing to do. There are hundreds of thousands of options out there so how can you sort through them all? So we’ve compiled this list to offer some recommendations to help you find your vape kits as these are the best vape starter kits for 2019.
Best Vape Starter Kits – The Top 5
1. Innokin Kroma – A Zenith Kit with Plexus Z coil
Innokin Kroma is a full fledged kit that features an ultra compact internal battery 75 watt mod fully loaded with features although for this kit you’ll only need to use the power mode.
It’s a small durable mod and since the batteries are internal, no need to buy batteries or chargers or anything. The internal battery is 2000 mah and the mod has 2 Amp charging so you’ll get a good battery life and fast charging.
The kit comes with everything you need right out of the box. The Zenith tank is a 23mm MTL tank meaning it’s great for low watt vaping and switching from cigarettes to vaping and features their unique plexus coils.
This is a great beginner choice for MTL and Low Watt vaping and it’s available in 3 colors Purple, Red, and Blue.
2. Vaporesso Cascade One Plus
This starter kit features a simple non-adjustable stick style mod with a built-in battery and a DTL (Direct to Lung) tank.
There are a lot of stick style kits like this one. However, this was the best one I’ve come across. It features a 3000 mah internal battery and 2 Amp fast charging as well. There is also a smaller version the Cascade One mini that has a smaller 1800 mah battery.
The tank features a generous 5 ml max capacity (3.5ml on the mini) so you won’t need to fill up very often and there are options for mesh coils and ceramic coils.
It’s available in 6 colors Silver, Blue, Rainbow, Black, Gold, and Shiny Gold. There is also a SE (special edition) version with a 6.5ml capacity that’s available in 8 colors each with designs Gold, Black, Red, Green, Street Red, Blue, Black Green, and Pink.
If you want to start with a stick style DTL kit, this is the way to go and you can pick whichever version that suits your needs.
3. Innokin Endura T18 II Kit
This starter kit features a simple semi-adjustable stick style mod (3 power output modes, high, medium, low) and an internal 1300 mah battery and is basically a slimmer version of the Vaporesso Cascade One plus above but is made for lower power and MTL vaping with the T18II Prism tank included.
The tank features the new T18 Prism II coils and a 2 ml capacity. It’s a great kit for MTL vaping if you want something more simple and portable than the Innokin Kroma Zenith kit in a stick form.
It’s available in 6 colors, Black, Blue, Rainbow, Violet, Coffee, and Stainless Steel.
4. Uwell Nunchaku Starter Kit
This starter kit features the Uwell Nunchaku Mod which is a single 18650 external battery mod capable of 80 watts and fully adjustable but in a stick style kit.
You will need to buy batteries separately and while you can charge it internally, an external charger is recommended. The good thing is that you can always have a spare battery to swap out so no need to wait for charging.
The Uwell Nunchaku tank in the kit is an excellent tank for DTL vaping and the best flavor tank for under 50 watts with a generous 5 ml capacity and 2 coil options, both clapton coils.
It’s a well built kit that looks nice and feels great to hold with some weight to it. If you want a stick style DTL kit to start with external batteries, it’s hard to not get this one.
It’s available in 7 colors Purple, Black and Gold, Stainless Steel, Full Black, Sapphire Blue, Metallic Green, and Iridescent (Rainbow).
5. Renova Zero Starter Kit
It wouldn’t be a good starter kit list without at least one pod kit right? Pods are great for their ease of use for people looking to quit smoking with small portable simple designs and no learning curve really. The Renova Zero Starter Kit is the best overall pod systems I’ve come across so it belongs on this list.
It uses an auto-draw system so you only need to inhale to vape and it features a generous 650 mah battery and 1 Amp quick charging and can charge in under 45 minutes and pass through vaping while charging.
There is also 3 power modes so it’s semi-adjustable (low, medium, high) and easy to remove magnetic pods. The pods themselves provide great flavor for a pod system and last a long time.
It’s also available in 9 colors Black, White, Silver, Rainbow, Orange, Blue, Red, Green, and Arctic Blue.

Thanks again.
I started vaping in late 2011 to quit chewing tobacco. Over the past few years I got a lot more into the hobby side and buying and collecting a lot of gear. Fed up with the lack of good fair reviews I decided to start doing reviews late 2016 and haven’t looked back. I enjoy providing people with technical reviews that are fair and unbiased and from a place of knowledge to help them spend their money wisely.
