Artery Hive 200 TC Kit First Impressions

Sometimes it is really nice to break away from the normal big brand coverage and focus the spotlight on some smaller names. Artery is not one of the smallest out there but many have not heard of them. In previous experience, their devices are very well made and feature some nice design and aesthetics.
The Artery 200 is capable of reaching a maximum power output of 200 watts while in power mode. Temperature Control users will find a comfortable range of 200-600F.
There are only two available color options with the Artery Hive 200 TC Kit, Resin Blue and Carbon Fiber (black). Even with only two color options, the device is striking with either design. The Blue Resin is very pleasing to the eyes and will certainly attract some attention.
The entire device has a real “hive” feeling to it, especially with the design highlights. The menus and screen are all shaped like a section from a beehive, like a honeycomb. Even the fire button follows the theme of the device.

One side of the device has a removable panel to allow access to the battery bay, a nice change from the usual bottom load battery door.
The overall tech features are fairly standard as compared to any other device on the market today. All the normal safety features are available on the exclusive chipset as well as button locking and button locking.
Interestingly enough, the Hive mod has a built-in “flavor mode” selector. There are four options when using flavor mode. Fruit, Milk, and Coffee. I would assume that milk would work for dairy flavors like yogurt, cheesecake, cream cheese etc. This is an interesting little feature that could work well.
Hive Tank First Impressions
Shipping with the Artery Hive 200 TC is the Hive Tank. No kit would be complete without the tank to match. The Hive Tank is capable of holding 3ml (TPD Version) or 4ml (Standard Version) and depending on the type of vaper, which should be enough to go through the day without too many refills.
The Hive Tank appears to only have one coil available for it at this time. Seemingly like a trend that is going on right now, the coil is of the Mesh variety and clocks in at 0.14ohm of resistance.

Many will agree that mesh coils on sub-tanks seem to work really well in producing a great flavor and vapor balance.
Pretty standard operation of the Hive Tank.Top fill for ease and eliminating spills and mess and a dual airflow located at the base of the atomizer.
Quick Note on the Aero Chip
Most device manufacturers use their own chipsets and it is an ongoing battle for who is the best. Artery has named theirs the “Aero” chip. As with most, the chip is said to fire instantly without any heating delays. A lot of companies make this claim but devices still take some time to hit the desired power.

The Aero chip does allow for a resistance as low as 0.08. This is an excellent selling point, especially for RDA users who use low ohm atomizers. A good number of mainstream devices usually cut off at 0.1ohm.
The chip seems very promising.

Conclusion
Artery may be a small company but I think that the Artery Hive 200 TC Kit has the potential to put them on the map, even more so than they are now. The device is very aesthetically pleasing and packs a serious punch. Paired with the matching tank, people will notice this device.
Sometimes the smaller companies need a show of blind faith from vapers, just to establish their name. Take it from an experienced Artery users, their products are fantastic and are built very well and the Artery Hive 200 TC Kit should be no exception.
