Artery PAL Stick AIO Starter Kit Preview
Here comes the Artery PAL Stick AIO Starter Kit, a vape pen inheriting the good reputation of the PAL series. If you are familiar with Artery, then you are possibly familiar with the Artery PAL-II too. This pod mod became very popular a few months ago and now ARTERY decided to continue the saga with a portable pen style starter kit with 750 mAh built-in battery and 3 variable voltage modes.
Unboxing the Artery PAL Stick
The PAL stick comes in white packaging with many extra goodies. In the box, you will find a PAL Stick Kit with a pre-installed 1.0 ohm MTL Coil, an extra 1.0 ohm MTL Coil, an extra Drip Tip, a USB Cable, a filling guide, a user manual, 3 o-ring replacements, a warranty card and a certification card.
The Artery PAL Stick Build Quality
Made in light aluminium alloy, the Artery PAL Stick has a diamond embossing finish which feels great in hand. The aesthetics of this vape pen reminds you of other ego vape pen styles we have seen before.
The visual appearance of this device is very appealing. The tank has 1.6 ml capacity and it is encased in the body of the vape pen. However, it is possible to disassemble the tank, the drip tip and the coils for easy cleaning. The tank pops in the body of the pen with magnets and it has bottom adjustable airflow. The drip tip can be removed for easy top filling.
From the outside, we can see the e-liquid capacity of the tank thanks to a small window with a tear shape. Right behind this window, we find the fire button to activate the device. This button has a diamond shape design and also includes the light indicator to check the battery capacity.
If you press the fire button 2 times, the device displays the battery level with flashing lights. The purple lights indicate 80-30 per cent and the red light, low level (less than 30 per cent). If the light flashes 2 times in blue, it means the battery capacity is almost full (100-80 per cent).
The Artery PAL Stick has a USB charging port at the bottom. When the device is charging, the lights mentioned before will flash to indicate the battery level so you know when the charging process has been completed. The PAL Stick has a pattern that adds more grip when you grab the pen with your fingers.
The HP Core Coils
Artery came up with the HP Core Coils for this device. There is 2 types of coils: one for MTL vaping reading at 1.0 ohm (better to use with 50 VG 50 PG liquid) and the 0.6-ohm mesh coil (better to use with 70 VG 30 PG). Artery states in their website that these coils are designed for flavour chasing and they last long. We did not have enough time to try this thought!
The device has 3 output modes (3.5 V, 3.3 V and 3.0 V). Each output mode matches one of the colors from the light indicator (blue, purple and red, respectively). You can easily switch between these 3 modes by simply clicking 3 times the fire button.
Conclusion
It’s difficult to find any con after examining the new Artery PAL Stick. Artery really did a great job with this vape pen style PAL. This is possibly the best vape pen we have seen to date.
The device offers versatility thanks to the MTL and DTL coils. It is easy to clean and use and it is portable and smart. Maybe the only thing that could have been better is the battery capacity: 1000 mAh instead of 750 mAh would have been appreciated. Other than that, there is no reason to say no to this vape pen that is now on prep-order at best vape online stores for less than $30. Looks like a winner!
