Asvape Cobra – No Venom Here, Just Purest Flavour

Cobra – First look.

4Time for a first from Asvape,  here is the Asvape cobra which is their first sub ohm tank containing stock coils. But not just any stock coils, more on that in a moment. First impressions of the cobra, this is a beautifully designed piece of kit. Manufactured from food grade SS304, it really is something special to look at. Black in colour with a darkened glass tank, finished off with at first glance the smallest amount of gold towards the top cap. This is in fact the top fill part to the tank and is accessed by removing the top cap itself to reveal two adequate sized fill holes. The cobra has a liquid capacity of 3.8ml despite its smaller looking size. Airflow is controlled from the bottom of the tank via two reasonably sized airflow holes. The cobra is also available in a stainless steel colour with standard clear glass and a black top fill area. Personally I prefer the look of the black model as looks wise it has the edge.

Looking now at the previously mentioned stock coil.

Asvape have opted for a unique stock coil that has a couple of notable benefits. Firstly the coil is capable of wicking 100vg liquids thanks mostly to the addition of tiny wicking holes. These are found around the bottom half of the coil rather than the standard 2, 3 or 4 larger holes. Secondly the coil itself is made from Ni80 ( Nichrome ) benefits to this are battery life is likely to increase due to a lower power required to fire the coil and of course with this a faster ramp up time. This makes a pleasant change from the normal kanthal or stainless steel coils we are used to seeing. Both the pre installed coil and the spare are 0.5ohm and are rated at 30w -45w.

099A4027Asvape bring to market some very well designed and capable products. The cobra should be no different. I am very impressed with the looks and look forward to putting the coil through its paces and will be putting a review up on my channel for you all to see the cobra in action. Personally the black variant caught my eye and is asthetically pleasing and would sit well on most mods out there. The lower power required to fire the coil opens up more options for mods that can make use of it. Overall impressed and I would say its definately one to watch for.
