Cool Vapor MADPUL Kit Review
Hello everyone, Dan Pierce here with another review. Today we will take a look at the Cool Vapor MADPUL Kit. A unique kit with a military style cartridge clip design.
Cool Vapor MADPU Product Introduction
The Cool Vapor MADPUL Kit mainly consists of a MADPUL MOD and a LAVA Tank. Inspired from the appearance of a military-style cartridge clip, the Cool Vapor MADPUL 200W VW Kit works with dual 18650 batteries. These can fire up to a max output of 200W with VV/VW mode and mechanical mode.
The Cool Vapor MADPUL also comes with the advanced SEVO 200W chipset, so it supports a 0.08s quick firing speed with multiple protections for a stable and great vape. One more point for the Cool Vapor MADPUL is that the package bag is made of camouflage waterproof cloth material, which is lightweight and durable and can be used as a multi-functional storage bag.
While the Cool Vapor LAVA Tank comes with 3ml e-juice capacity and 24mm diameter. And there are 0.3ohm and 0.5ohm coil for different flavor. Plus the adjustable bottom airflow design, the Cool Vapor MADPUL Kit can bring you great vaping experience. Besides, the Cool Vapor LAVA Tank is also compatible with SMOK TFV8 coils.

Up Close and Personal with the Cool Vapor MADPUL
I wasn’t convinced that I would get on with this mod when it arrived. As it did look a bit plastic and a bit cheap and nasty, but it was only when I started using it. Then this kit really started to grow on me.
It has a really good feel in the hand. A lot more comfortable than I thought it would be. Size wise it is just right, and sits neatly in the hand, with the plastic grid pattern giving plenty of grips.
The battery door seemed a little loose when I first opened the package and I couldn’t really see how it would stay in place, but as soon as I installed the twin 18650 batteries, and slid the door across, it snapped firmly in place, and gave me no issues whilst using the kit over the last week.
I was impressed with the performance of this chipset. It delivers instant power to the coil, with no lag what so ever. The coils seemed to perform really well at around 50w, delivering plenty of flavor, and a surprisingly cool vape, considering how short the drip tip is.
Up Close and Personal with the Cool Vapor MADPUL Continued
The fire button, with its deep ridges, was super clicky, with a nice positive press, activating from all angles, top and bottom. I did find the menu control buttons to be a little low down, and a little awkward to press due to the location and you find yourself having to press them with the other hand.
The key lock function (pressing both the + & – key at the same time) strangely seem to lock all three buttons. I would have preferred it to have just lock the menu buttons, allowing you to still vape, whilst locking in your chosen wattage.
The display is located at the bottom of the device and gives you a nice bright display, which could be easily both indoors and outside, with all the required information.
Final Thoughts
This Cool Vapor MADPUL kit has really grown on me and is a great hard wearing mod, for out and about. Due to its plastic construction, it won’t noticeablely get chipped or scratched. The brash top plate nicely contrasted with the white body gives it quite a cool retro look. It performed really well, and never missed a beat during testing. So if you’re looking a rough and tough mod, then you should defiantly check this one out.
