Geekvape Bident Pod System Preview
We have some exciting news coming from Geekvape… This well-known vape manufacturer just released the first pod featuring dual coils! The Geekvape Bident Pod System is engineered to produce denser vapour production and richer flavour. This pod system is suitable for MTL and DTL vaping thanks to the 3 different output levels.
The Geekvape Bident Pod System Packing List
The Geekvape Bident comes in the typical orange and black packaging from GeekVape and includes the following goodies: the Geekvape Bident Pod Kit with a 0.8ohm pre-installed pod for direct-to-lung vaping, an extra 1.2ohm pod for mouth-to-lung vaping, a Type-C cable and a user manual.
Checking the Bindent Mod Battery
As we have just anticipated, Geekvape came up with a pod mod featuring 3 adjustable output levels (3.4V/3.6V/3.8V). The Bident mod battery has a fire button that must be pressed while inhaling. This button also allows switching between the 3 different outputs if clicked 3 times. Each output level matches a different LED colour in the fire button.
The mod has a 950 mAh internal battery, which is more than enough to keep you going all day long. But if it wasn’t, there is some good news as the Bident has a type-C port that allows you to fully charge the device in just 45 minutes.
Bident is 88.5 mm in length and 32 mm in width which is a very pocket-friendly size that perfectly fits in the back of your hand. Geekvape is offering 6 different colour designs at the moment: 3 in carbon fibre (black, gold and red) and the other 3 in resin (silver, gunmetal and rainbow). The Bident mod battery is also equipped Micro AS chip which provides the typical safety protection such as low voltage warning and 10-sec puff cut off.
The Bident Pods
The pods have 3.5 ml in the standard version and 2 ml capacity in the TPD version for EU countries. Both versions are refillable by pulling out a little rubber plug located next to the built-in coil. So you need to take off the pod and place it upside down to refill it.
Nothing really innovative, but here comes the exciting part of this new pod: Geekvape offers 2 types of pods with a dual coil, one for MTL and the other one for DTL. The DTL pod has 0.8 ohms and it is advised to use it at 14W to 18W. The MTL Pod has 1.2 ohms and it is better to use it at a lower wattage (9W to 12W). The pod has 2 intake slots with adjustable bottom airflow.

Final Thoughts about the Geekvape Bident Pod System
Geekvape came up one more time with something slightly different for the vape community. This vaping company is well-known for manufacturing some of the best rebuildable tanks ever. Now, they are trying to bring this experience making flavorful tanks to the pod markets. Since pods became popular, all vape brands have made them in all kind of shapes and colours. However, there was not much room left for making something really unique.
The design of the Bident pod system won’t stand out if compared to other pod mods, but at least they came up with a good looking pod that is certainly fashionable and portable.
The dual coil pod system might well just be a way of getting people’s attention but they do perform well and provide some tasteful clouds. It is also good that they thought about MTL and DTL vapers, and that they include the type C port which should be soon a must for any device.
All in all, the Geekvape Bident Pod System is a well-constructed pod mod that works as it is advertised. Not a bad choice at all for a very affordable price.

I helped many smokers to switch to vaping since as I am convinced vaping is a much healhier alternative to tobbaco smoking.
