IJoy AI Pod System Rundown

The IJoy AI Pod System is an AIO (all-in-one) Pod kit that has removable pods but the coil is built into the pod itself like the Innokin EQ or Vaporesso Renova Zero.
It’s tiny in size and smaller than most pod systems measuring only 90.5 mm tall, 13 mm thick, and 28 mm wide. It’s a pen or stick style pod kit that includes 1 coil option which I’ll go over in the next section.
The device has no button to turn on or off and uses the simple inhale to fire design like the popular JUUL. It features an LED on the front that is green when you are vaping and when charging, it will be red then turn green when it’s full.

Sadly, there is no battery meter on it but it’ll blink 10 times when it’s low and flash 3 times if there is an issue with the coil.
The don’t list a charge rate for the device. The max I got was 0.41 amp during charging so 0.5 amp max charge rate should be listed making it slower than most pods out there. I wish it had at least 1A charging which would have been fine for the small battery size. Speaking of the battery size, it’s listed at 450 mAh which is a little on the small side for a pod system with many being 600 mAh or more unless they are really tiny.
Seeing the juice level is kind of easy. Since the pod makes up the whole top part of the kit, you don’t have to worry about the level being hidden. However, the pod is tinted a bit too dark making it hard to see. Clear pods are much better than tinted ones so I’m not sure why every company tints them.
Replacing the pods is quite easy and you can carry a spare. It just clips into the top and fits in quite well and is easy to remove. But the pod itself is slick so you do need to press down quite a bit to pull it out. I prefer magnetic pods personally as they fit in better and are easier to remove.

They also include a lanyard with a rubber ring to attach the ring to the device then attach the lanyard to the rubber ring so you can wear it around your neck which is a nice addition.
Performance of IJoy AI Pod System
Now to the important part. How does it actually vape? Airflow on this device is good. Airflow comes in through two holes on the device and then it goes to the coil through the hole on the cartridge. It is not a very tight draw, but also it is not loose. You can have a decent mouth-to-lung vape. Throat hit is very decent and vapor production is very good as well for pod device. I personally like very tight MTL draw, but I can say that airflow here should be okay for most MTL vapers.

Conclusion
So with all that said, do I recommend the IJoy AI Pod System or not? I don’t like to do a hard Yes or No, but this is going to be a Yes. This device works as it should so I can’t complain. If you are looking for a simple and compact AIO vape device that comes with everything you need to vape, I would recommend it.

I started vaping in late 2011 to quit chewing tobacco. Over the past few years I got a lot more into the hobby side and buying and collecting a lot of gear. Fed up with the lack of good fair reviews I decided to start doing reviews late 2016 and haven’t looked back. I enjoy providing people with technical reviews that are fair and unbiased and from a place of knowledge to help them spend their money wisely.
