The Pharaoh is a high-end mechanical tube compatible with both 21700 and 18650 batteries. Manufactured by Onetop, a Chinese company specializing in high-end products, the Pharaoh features a tube with a spring fire button and a 510 thread.
Background
This is not the first time a vape company launches a vape product inspired in Egyptian ancient culture. Back in 2017, Digiflavor and the popular American reviewer Rip Trippers released the Pharaoh RTA and the Pharaoh RTA Mini. Previously this company also launched an RDA version of the Pharaoh. Both versions were quite popular back then because of the build quality of the tank and the good performance. If you still own one of those, maybe you can pair this mech mod with the RDA. Unboxing the Onetop Vape Pharaoh
The Onetop Vape Pharaoh mech mod comes in a very unique packaging Egyptian hieroglyphics. Inside this mysterious packaging, there are not many surprises: just the Pharaoh 21700 mech mod, a 18650 battery sleeve adaptor and a spare spring for the power button.
Build Quality and First Impressions
The Pharaoh mechanical mod is a beautifully crafted tube made in high-quality brass. This mech mod has 92 mm in length and 35 mm in diameter, so you can basically use any RDA on it with no overhang. The Pharaoh feels heavy in the hand and is slightly bigger than many other mechanical mods on the market.
Built into the top cap of the tube, there is a 510 connection which is the typical threading connecting any atomizer and mod. The positive connection is in the top cap and the negative contact is in the button. The button or switch completes the circuit when pressed. This is a spring-loaded button with no built-in locks so it is important to handle this mech mod carefully to avoid accidental firing.
If you are reading this, it is possibly needless to say that mech mods require a good understanding of ohm low, regular maintenance and batteries in good shape. Mech mods like the Pharaoh are not regulated devices, so there is no screen with safety warnings! Most scary news about vaping normally occurs when users do not know what they are handling. So it is always good to remember!
From the outside of the mod, you can see the famous mask of the Pharaoh Tutankhamun. Right under there are some other Egyptian decorations and figures. Not sure how to address them properly though!
Conclusion
All in all, the Onetop Vape Pharaoh mech mod looks well-built and it is certainly very unique… I cannot think of any other mech mod looking like this one! This is possibly a mech mod for vape collectors as not many vapers out there are willing to spend almost $200 on a mech mod.
