Think Vape Orbit Pod System Preview
Looking for a versatile pod system at an affordable price? Think Vape just launched the Orbit Kit, a funky and portable pod mod featuring mesh coils for DTL and regular coils for a stealth MTL vape. Think Vape is a relatively new vape manufacturer specializing in mods. The major selling point of the Think Vape Orbit pod system is the coil versatility, but it is important to highlight some other features such as the large pod capacity (3 ml) and the large battery capacity (1000 mAh).
Build Quality and Parameters
The Think Vape Orbit Pod kit comes in white packaging and includes the pod mod, 1 cartridge, 1 MTL coil, one Mesh coil for DL, a USB cable, a user manual and a warranty card. The Orbit is a good looking pod vape with resin panels and pocket-friendly size. We’ve got the rainbow one, but there’s going to be 7 colours available.
The Orbit measures 91 mm x 32 mm x 18 mm. It’s about the same size and weight as the Vaporesso Renova Zero Pod System, but it does not have those magnetized drop-in pods. The Orbit pod just clicks inside the mod.
Just like other similar pod vapes, the Orbit is a plug-and-play device that’s operated by a simple fire button. The light indicator is located down below the fire button and the USB port at the bottom of the device. The Think Vape Orbit has a funky finish thanks to the resin panels.
The Pod of the Think Vape Orbit
The flavour with the mesh coil is just right and it is also able to blow pretty decent clouds. The mesh coils read at 0.6 ohms and they just need to be installed in the pod cartridge with 3 ml capacity. It is possible to buy cartridges separately to use different coils and flavours. These coils are suitable for vaping e-liquid with 70 VG – 30 PG concentration, but we would not recommend any VG concentration higher than that.
If direct-to-lung inhaling is not your thing, Think Vape also included a mouth-to-lung option. This coil can be used with nic salt liquid and CBD and it reads at 1.2 ohms.
The pod features a convenient bottom filling design and the airflow is not adjustable.
Price Point and Conclusion
You can find the Think Vape Orbit pod kit for less than $30 at best online vape stores. The coil replacements and the cartridges can be purchased separately. A spare cartridge with one pre-installed coil cost around $8. You can also buy a pack of coil replacements for $12 (pack of 5 pieces).
The Think Vape Orbit Kit is a competitor for the Vaporesso Renova Zero. Unlike this pod, the Orbit allows you to change the coil inside. This is definitely a big plus for many. However, we are not sure if that matches the definition of a pod…
The long battery life and large pod capacity is another big pro. This pod is designed to keep you vaping all day long. Only if you use the mesh coil you might have to refill the pod one than once a day.
All in all, the Think Vape Orbit is a new decent option if you are interested in getting a pod. One more option to the vast pod mod offer we are experiencing nowadays.
