Vaporesso Polar 220W TC Kit Introduction
The Vaporesso Polar 220W TC Kit is the latest kit from longtime vape manufacturer Vaporesso and set to release in June of 2018. It’s a dual 18650 battery mod and the spiritual successor to the revenger series of mods. It’s listed at 220 watts max and is packed with all the features you’d expect from a vaporesso mod. It features a front facing massive 2 inch color screen, a side fire button bar and the kit comes with the baby cascade se tank. It’s available in 7 colors, Red, Gold, SIlver, Metallic Grey, Red/Black, Green/Black, and Blue/Black.

The Vaporesso Polar Kit, features the Vaporesso Polar dual 18650 battery mod and the Vaporesso Cascade Baby SE Sub Ohm Tank, a newer version of the Cascade baby tank, but also uses GT coils (coil compatibility with baby beast style coils) like their NRG line of tanks as well. For the Polar Mod, it’s a Dual 18650 mod. The batteries are loaded via a magnetic backplate door just like the revenger series of mods. The size and design is very similar to the revenger mods but now with a larger color screen and a newer chip. It’s not a touch screen like the revenger X, but instead uses a menu button like the revenger and a new easy to use laid out menu as well. The front of the mod features a massive 2” color screen which is now the largest screen i’ve seen on a mod. Topping the 1.45” one of the innokin proton. It’s nice and bright and easy to read and has all the info you would want from your mod on it.
The mod uses a 5 click to turn on and off. Like all vaporesso mods, it has a menu button that you use to enter the menu. Just like the revenger series of mods. There is no button rattle with the buttons either. It’s built solid. The mod itself can handle up to a 25mm atomizer without overhang and has a centered 510 pin. The mod itself is built pretty solid and is very light. Even with a the batteries installed the mod is really light. If you ever used a revenger mod you’ll know what it feels like. The coloring on the green/black one i have is excellent. It’s starts as green on the bottom and fades up to black on the top. It has all the settings and modes you’d expect from a Vaporesso mod like power (with preheat option of soft, normal and hard), temperature control for Ni, TI, and SS, TCR mode, watt curve mode, bypass mode, VV mode, voltage curve mode and a new super player mode. Nothing missing there.
For the Cascade Baby SE Tank, I’ve actually already reviewed all the other tanks that take these coils. While i hadn’t had much luck in the past with vaporesso coils, the new mesh coil again worked great and had good flavor. The kit comes with one mesh coil which i enjoyed and a GT8 8 coil head as well which i didn’t use yet but used in the past and i didn’t care much for. Stick to the mesh coils for sure. It has a huge 6.5ml capacity and you can change the coils with a nearly full tank as well which is nice. No leaks and it’s a well built tank and one of the better mid watt range ones with the mesh coils. I also love the colored glass to match. My Green/black mod came with a matte black tank and a green colored glass. It really gives the kit a nice look although the included 510 drip tip is just black delrin. Making it a matching green resin would have been awesome.

Overall I’ve been using this for a couple of days, not enough time to to an actual review, but with the lack of info out there on this kit, I felt it would be nice to preview since I am liking the kit so far and vaporesso has been making some excellent mods as of late and their chip is very underrated. So far though I have to say this has all the makings to be a killer dual battery affordable mod in 2018.
